We all sat around a table and played with chalk and looked at pictures of cars then made our own picture making marks onto paper. We are going to make pictures using different materials to encourage us to grasp with out hands.

We used hand paints to make traffic lights, painting our hands with red, orange and green we pressed our hands onto paper to make the lights to improve hand eye coordination.

We sang songs and read books about transport – we had fun singing “The wheels on the bus”. We also made pictures of busses using tissue and played with cars and lorries from the toy box.

The babies where given the opportunity to play with shaving foam in a tray with transport related items in so they could push them through it and see the tracks they made.

We all went for a trip to the fire station, we explored the fire engines and met the crew.

We also played in the garden with the transport toys.
